As many of you may be aware it is possible to modify a PAL Sega Saturn system to output at 60hz. Once I had my Saturn converted to output at 50/60hz I noticed that a few PAL games developed problems when played at 60hz, hence the reason I decided to make this list to record the games that had any problems and what the side effects were. This is also a complete list of all the games official released in PAL.

So far I managed to test over half the Saturn games released in PAL, but this list is far from complete, it you happen to know how a game play in 60hz then drop me a line at the e.mail address below.

In order to play Sega Saturn games at 60hz, you will need to have your Pal Sega Saturn modified with a 50/60hz switch or play a Pal game on a NTSC Saturn. An unmodified Pal Sega Saturn only plays Pal games at 50hz.

KEY:
Normal = Default setting for Pal games, most games suffer from boarders and slowdown in this mode.

PAL OPT = Games that work best in 50hz (Sega of Europe, spent time on converting then) playing these games at 60hz will result in overscan at the top and bottom of the tv screen.
Improved = When played in 60hz boarders and slowdown is removed.

Green = This title was only released in PAL/Europe

Red = This title was only released in English in PAL/Europe

Blue = This title went under a different name in Japan and/or USA, see name changes and additional information for more information on the different names.

Multicoloured = Multiple colours apply to this game.

Always double check, that you have the right equipment to play each import game, as quite a few don't work with converter cartridges and some only work with the correct area console, but not many.
